Trailer Analysis/Notes

Trailers

  • 'Ferris Buellers day off'
-Titles are used and repeated
-Funny moments shown
-Movie name shown last
-Clips changed quickly
-Main character talks to camera
-Music fits in with the storyline
-Natural (no special effects/ animation used)
-Shows that Ferris gets his day off but doesn't show what happens
-Institution (20th Century Fox)


  • The Breakfast show
-Voice over of the narrative
-Music with no lyrics
-Movie name shown last
-Small bit of credits shown at the end
-Character dialogue used to tell bits of the story


  • Pan's Labyrinth
-Voice over of the narrative
-Child humming (hints genre/characters of the film)
