These magazine covers are in the same genre, which is photography.
Differences: 1.The first front cover has used a person for its main image but the second one has used a camera, this may be for advertising and/or 'advice' for photographers about the particular camera. 2.Cover 2 has a basic strap line, not using any boxes or borders around the strap line to make it stand out. 3.The layout is completely different, cover 1's copy has almost been pushed to one side making the main picture more visible. Cover 2 has text all over the page, also text that covers he magazine name and includes a big picture of a Nikon camera on the bottom right hand side. 4.The barcode on cover 2 is visible. (Cover 1's barcode has been covered). Similarities:1. Both from the same magazine company (Popular photography). 2.at least one picture of a Camera.
Target audience for both magazine covers would be anyone in with photography interest or in the photography business.
